Company History
Piano Moving
Braymore started as a piano moving company in 1981. Within a few years, Braymore quickly became Ontario’s largest and most reputable piano mover, based out of Toronto. Braymore has become well-known as the piano mover of choice in the industry. It has the best-equipped movers and delivery trucks for moving pianos.
Warehousing and Piano Storage
When picking up pianos from other warehouses, Braymore realized there was a lack of warehouses that knew how to handle and store them. This led to Braymore opening its warehouse facility to meet this need in 1984. Over the next few decades, Braymore became known as the best company to store your pianos and does work for most piano distributors serving the Canadian marketplace.
Specialty Moving
With such a great reputation for moving pianos, many customers asked Braymore if they would consider moving other items besides pianos. Having the equipment, know-how, and care level people were looking for in a mover, Braymore started getting known for moving other unique items that standard delivery people and movers had problems with. These items included large-screen TVs, photocopiers, safes, statues, hot tubs, and swim spas. Check out our Specialty Moving gallery to see some unique items people have requested over the years.
Crane Rental
As the piano industry shrunk and consolidated over the years, Braymore started looking for another unique industry that could take advantage of our skills and services. The crane industry is mostly dominated by the construction industry and cranes that are designed for working on open construction sites.
This led to Braymore picking up its first small Palfinger knuckle crane in 2010. This crane was designed for lifting in tight locations around the city that a standard stick crane could not operate. Hitting a section of the crane market that traditional crane companies had no interest in serving, Braymore found its next unique niche in the marketplace. Over the next decade, Braymore expanded its crane division, focusing on specialized knuckle and mini cranes to do lifts that standard cranes cannot do. Today, Braymore is known as the crane industry troubleshooter for challenging lifts. It currently has some of the most advanced cranes on the market. Take a look at our crane gallery to see them in action.
