You might have noticed that in some of the pictures above, we used two different cranes to complete the exact same lift that a single larger crane could have pulled off. That is actually the crane industry answer for everything, bigger is better. We won’t deny that it would have made everyone’s life easier to just use one single large crane. The problem for our customer on that particular job; it would have costed them another $5000 to do that on top of what it costed to get the two smaller cranes that we ended up using. Cranes get exponentially more expensive the bigger you go. While bigger might be better sometimes, it is not always the most practical thing to do for your pocket book.
