“How low can you go?”
The problem: Government restricts how high objects can go in relationship to proximity to an airports, airfields and anything that has some sort of landing strip. This includes cranes! The problem with most cranes in these areas, is that they have to go way up, before it can drop a line down to lift anything. Your typical stick crane, generally has to stay above a 45 degree angle to work. So, best case scenario, for every foot you need to reach out, you also need to go up that same amount or more. Where the regulated lifting ceiling is 40 feet, that does not give you very many options.
How do you lift things in restricted air space?
You need to use a crane that can work under the government restrictions. Knuckle cranes are your best solution to this problem. They have the ability to reach straight out and downward, working below the restricted air space ceiling, but still give you the lifting power that you require. Where the only real question is how much weight at what distance.
Braymore Crane Rental is one of the only crane companies in the Toronto area that has these heavy knuckle cranes for hire that can work in these heavily regulated areas. Whether it is lifting a small plan, placing an HVAC on a roof, or lifting any sort of materials in these areas.
