This crane was way ahead of its time compared to anything else in the city when it came out.

It can lift 1500 pounds out to 100 feet in any direction.
It can lift 5000 pounds out to 45 feet in any direction.
It is a knuckle crane which allows it to bend the boom in the middle.
Its flatbed deck also allowed it to carry some freight, eliminating the need for a second delivery truck on some jobs.
The crane operates by radio remote control so that the crane operator can stand anywhere he/she wants. This eliminates the need for hand signals on many jobs, reducing errors on job sites.
It deploys in a much smaller footprint than a traditional stick crane, allowing it to be used in locations where other cranes would not work.
It deploys faster than most other cranes, reducing the amount of time the crane is needed on site.
The boom is not restricted to the 45-degree tip restriction on stick cranes. It can reach straight out horizontally and do a full pickup with the boom right down at the ground.
The knuckle boom allowed it to do more precision lifts than your regular crane.
It just looks amazing to watch.
